Welcome to Trosa!
Trosa is an idyllic little town in Sörmland, located by the sea, 45 minutes south of Stockholm. It is a small picturesque town along the Trosa River with small shops and cafés. Trosa has always attracted authors and artists, and the stories are many of their stays at Stadshotellet.
The charming Trosa became a popular seaside resort in the latter part of the 19th century. Stadshotellet and, not least, its garden was a centre for resort guests. This is where they stayed and where the big feasts were held.
Trosa Stadshotell & Spa
Today, Stadshotellet is a modern, family-owned hotel with genuine charm and atmosphere from times gone by. It is newly renovated with a lovely sunny courtyard that warms up on cool summer evenings.
